8th book – ‘The Fat Lady Sings” by Jacqueline Roy.

“He views it as a black thing, a savage thing, I see it in his eye. All the time they just keep on provoking us. Then when we strike back, it proves all the prejudice they carry in their hearts”.
– Jacqueline Roy
Irene is a Regent’s University graduate and works as an existential psychotherapist in private practice. In 2021, she ran the Therapists Book Club which met monthly over zoom for a year. The idea of the reader’s club  stemmed from a desire to create a space for therapists to meet socially with other
colleagues and start a conversation over a good book.
