Join our Zoom Symposium for a get together to discuss different ideas on topics that are of equal interest and liking. Get yourself a drink, a meal or your favourite snack, sit comfortably and simply show up.

Topic: A discussion centred on the meaning of money in the therapeutic encounter.
It is perhaps a therapeutic cliche that therapists are more willing to speak about their clients’ darkest trauma and deepest sexual desires than they are about money. What makes this topic taboo, and what are the implications of this? What does money represent in therapy, and how are we to be with it? This discussion is proposed at a time where demand for low-cost or free therapy is on the rise, as lock-down increases the need for mental health provision amongst those who are least able to afford it.
