Title: Existential Analysis and Racism

If psychotherapy is anything, it is ethical.  Both therapist and client are engaged in the question “how am I to live?”, and perhaps more particularly, “how am I to live in the face of you?“.  Recent events in the US and UK have foregrounded the issue of racism, particularly as it relates to the experience of being black in a post-colonial Western world.  As existential psychotherapists, inheritors of a tradition that is dominated by the thinking of white, Western men, what is our response to be?  This symposium will provide a forum to begin exploring this question.
Hosted by Alexander Morriss, a UKCP accredited existential psychotherapist in private practice.

This is a FREE event.  Please register your attendance.
